- Super topic: Quantifying Scientific Progress
The information architecture section is focusing on conforming the meta data for data products as well as tutorials and a framework for housing this information.
The Quantifying Scientific Progress team is the one that I am working with. Quiet simply we are trying to determine how we're progressing as a field. In the last blog post I started introducing what we are planing to look at. Since that post it has felt like we've gotten a lot and not much done at the same time. The big thing that got done was our working group website. Here is your one stop shop for seeing what we are up to throughout the week.
On our website you can see our schedule, past meeting minutes, and contribute questions, suggestions, ideas, and comments. Community involvement and feed back is incredibly important to our group so make sure to have your voice heard through our comment forum. There are also a number of us on twitter, so feel free to contact us there as well! I'm @PlasmaNerd.
Our schedule for the next week is a bit intense, but we will try to put updates and progress reports up on the website. As some of our group who can not travel to Florida for the in person meeting are on twitter, I may try to also post updates there. You can see my recent tweets of course on the right hand side bar.
Wish us luck!
